FFA Accident Leads to $25 Bond Forfeiture
Miss Rita Levin 23 of Fort Wayne did not appear in LaSalle County Magistrate Court Ottawa and forfeited a $25 cash bond on a charge of disregarding a stop sign at U.S. 52 and Illinois 71 on Sept 15. $15 fine and $10 costs were assessed. The crash involved Gary Brucker of Morris Community High School with six MCHS FFA officers aboard while pursued by state and local police. Charges of reckless driving eluding police and traffic light violation from Naperville police were dismissed Sept. 25 in Wheaton.

Motorboat Case Hearing Opens
Five witnesses testified in circuit court this morning in the case of Billy Nunnery of Melrose Park charged with criminal trespass to an 18 foot motorboat owned by Robert Brown of La Grange. The boat, taken over Labor Day weekend at Belt's Landing on the Illinois River, allegedly sustained considerable damage. Defense witnesses were set for the afternoon session. Hospitalize Driver After Accident
Mrs. Bernard Davidson aged 39 of Route 1 was hospitalized in good condition at Morris Hospital after a one car crash on Cemetery Road four miles east of Morris at 4 30 pm Tuesday. Her 1966 Oldsmobile hood came unhooked causing a veer into a ditch. She was taken by Finland ambulance and held overnight for observation.
