Joliet Man Faces Five Criminal Charges on Firearms and Drugs
Frederick S. Dumovic, 21, of Joliet, charged in circuit court with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, possessing a silencer, having a loaded rifle, and possession of amphetamine and cannabis. Bail set at 5000. arraignment slated for October 24. Police found a silencer, loaded pistol, knife, brass knuckles, altered rifle serial, 19.9 grams marijuana, and 13 amphetamine pills during a search after a traffic stop in Coal City. Suspects Bound Over in Gardner Burglary Case
Three suspects linked to a June 14 Gardner burglary were bound over to Grundy County grand jury. Kenneth Edison 24 Donna Fegert 19 faced $5000 bail each. Kathleen Edison 18 previously released on $5000 bond. Charges involve four carpeting rolls and drapes from four modular homes on Illinois 129 and Carbon Hill Road owned by Gardner Development Corp. Miss Lillian L. Hanson, 59, of Wilmington died after a Saturday afternoon one car crash on Pine Bluff Road. The wreck at 4 p.m. left her vehicle demolished, the car crossing the center line and striking a mailbox then a culvert before hitting a private drive.
