Girl, 3, Shot to Death in Morris Home

Kimberly Ann Olson, age 3 of Saratoga Road, died from a shotgun blast at home while her babysitter Andrew Davidson, 14, pulled a gun from under a bed. No charges have been filed. An inquest date will be set later.

Gasoline Container Found Near Burned Home on Holderman Rd

A plastic container with a small amount of gasoline was found near the wrecked vacant home of Mrs. Lilly Hume on Holderman Rd after a Sunday blaze. Fire Leaves 1 100 Homeless in Chelsea Mass

A wind fueled blaze in Chelsea left about 1,100 people homeless across 20 blocks of wooden tenements and small businesses. Four firemen were hospitalized for smoke inhalation. no deaths were reported. National Guard troops secured the charred district as residents sought aid.

Morris Community High School Homecoming Weekend Schedule

MCHS hosts a homecoming with a snake dance Friday 6 to 7 pm followed by a girls football game and an informal dance 8 to 9 30 pm.
