Mrs. Warren N. Fair filed a dram shop suit in circuit court seeking 20,000 for lost support and 2,500 for funeral expenses after her husband died Oct. 17, 1968 from intoxication alleged to have been caused by drinks sold at Bluebird Tap Clara's Tap and The Pine Lounge. The defendants are R. J. Inc. and Robert Taylos, Clara and Russell Shelly, and Chester Jerantowski. The case is represented by Horwitz Anesi Ozmont and Associates.

One Car Crash Near Dwight Claims Girl's Life
A Dwight girl, Miss Dawn Sassenger aged 15, was killed in a one car crash on U S 66 about 0.75 mile west of Illinois 17 Tuesday afternoon. Her sister Donna 16 and driver Kathleen A Mixen 16 were injured and taken to St James Hospital in Pontiac in satisfactory condition. The car, traveling south on U S 66, left the roadway skidded 204 feet rolled four times and traveled 144 feet before landing on its wheels.

She died with services planned at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Dwight. She leaves parents Ralph and Bernice Ely Sassenger of Dwight two grandmothers and eight sisters nine brothers. Funeral services set for Friday at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
