Holderman, and David Foote joined 27 others at a table representing LaSalle Bureau and Grundy counties. Illinois Supreme Court Justice Howard C. Ryan spoke.

Old Cattle Barn To Become House Near Morris
Two men will salvage lumber from a large historic cattle barn on the Harvey V. Johnson farm three miles north of Morris to build a house. The barn, built in the 1850s by Charley Stone, measures about 140 feet by 20 to 30 feet and remains in good condition after 50 years without paint.

The Morris Daily Herald will switch from letter press to offset printing starting Monday, with electronic computers and photography replacing hot metal. News will be punched onto tape and processed by computers to prepare copy, then pasted into exact page facsimiles for aluminum plates. During installation, the paper will print on Pontiac Leader presses for about six weeks, possibly delaying publication and delivery.

MCHS to stage David and Lisa this weekend
A 23 member cast will perform Morris Community High School's all school play David and Lisa at 8 p m Friday and Saturday in the MCHS auditorium. Directed by David Stone the production features Helen Slaylor as Lisa and Frank Hildy as David. The story follows two emotionally disturbed children based on a book by Dr Isaac Rubins.
