Tax hearing for personal property taxes continued again
The personal property tax hearing before County Treasurer Pauline Coleman was continued Monday pending possible further court action on a supplemental Illinois Supreme Court order. It is the second postponement, with the first hearing set for April 30 and continued. Coleman said any Supreme Court order will require separate tax bill calculations and refunds to the named taxpayer on the records.
