Morris man injured in motorcycle collision on Illinois 47
A 31 year old Morris man William Vaughn was injured Friday at 2 05 p m when his motorcycle rammed the rear of a car on Illinois 47 at Pine Bluff Rd He was treated at St Joseph Hospital Joliet and Morris Hospital then transferred Vaughn faces a traffic citation for no valid registration Darrell Coleman 18 Morris was not injured and cited for quick stop due to changing traffic lights Damage to Coleman's 1972 Chevrolet Nova was $300 Vaughn's 1975 Triumph motorcycle suffered $250 damage. The sheriff's department also cited Gene Kingman 22 Gardner for improper lane usage and reported a hit and run emergency on South mor Rd Illinois 47 with damage to Edwin Witt 1972 Buick Electra estimated at 900.

Two Rockford Residents Arrested in Grundy Cannabis Bust
Rockford men faced charges after Grundy County deputies stopped a brown Lincoln on Storm Road and near Illinois 129. Phillip Jamerson, 22, was jailed for illegal possession of 2.5 to 10 grams of cannabis and cited for improper lane use. a 15-year-old was charged with cannabis possession and sent to Ottawa Cotention Home. A smoking marijuana cigarette and multiple hand rolled joints were found in the car, implicating the juvenile. Walker, the apparent owner, was not charged. The car was towed.

Verona woman in good condition after three vehicle crash
Kathleen Gonnam 58 of Verona was treated for facial and head injuries after a three vehicle crash on Illinois 71 near Newark Road. She was transferred to Foster McGaw Hospital Maywood for further care and is reported in good condition. Charles Denius 56 of Princeton remained in critical condition at Mercy Center Hospital Aurora. James Robertson 46 of Galesburg drove the semi and was uninjured. Denius’s truck crossed the center line and hit Gonnam’s pickup head on.

Youth Injured in School Accident In Gardner
Mark Hahn fifteen of 109 Cedar Street Gardner was treated and released from Morris Hospital Friday after an accident at Gardner South Wilmington High School. He was taken to the hospital by Gardner Ambulance at 2 37 p m a high school spokesman said Hahn was involved but refused to give details.
