City approves bond election for pool, disposal plant funding
The City Council voted 7-0 to place a 275000 bond referendum on April 15 to partly finance a new secondary disposal plant. Estimated total project cost near 860000 includes 300000 city and 300000 federal aid with bonds not to exceed 6 percent. They also authorized bonds for a new library and decided on pool filtering Plant costs between 18000 and 20000 with supervision up to 1000.
