Restitution Set For Two Coal City Youths In Burglaries
Restitution totaling 1428.14 was set in the case of two Coal City youths who pleaded guilty to burglaries last year. Keith Wilt and Roger Ferrell, both 17, were ordered to pay 714.07 each plus court costs with Ferrell to appear March 11 before Judge Robert Malmquist. A 15-year-old Coal City youth had earlier been placed on probation and ordered to pay 74.12. Dwight Lee Gill, 19, of Mazon, faces 524.02 restitution and is in the service. The arrests followed the discovery of a stolen transmission Oct. 6 in a wrecked Gill car.

Truck Driver Injured in Freak Mishap
James Spurgeon of Osceola was injured at 2:40 a.m. on Interstate 80 one mile east of Minooka Road while freeing a trailer from a Lamon Refrigerator Express truck.
