Harold Carl Sutter 46, current Sterling Township High School superintendent since 1967, verbally accepted a 22 000 year offer to become MCHS superintendent. The Morris board voted 7 0 to approve a three year contract with at least 500 annual raise. Sutter will join after the first of the month and spend 3 4 days weekly in Morris. He is married with four children.

Five Harvey residents injured in I 80 ramp crash
Five Harvey residents were treated and released from St. Joseph Hospital Joliet after their auto overturned on the ramp to eastbound I 80 at I 55 at 1 20 p m Wednesday. The driver Andrew Brown 35 said steering failed as the car accelerated and struck the guardrail before overturning. The 1970 Cadillac with 3 000 damage was towed from the scene.

A 28 year old unemployed man was arrested at his home and charged as the hijacker who obtained a 502500 ransom and parachuted over Indiana last weekend. Martin J. McNally of Wyandotte faces federal air piracy charges as FBI officials said he was arrested just before midnight Wednesday and held for arraignment. The FBI plans to file a complaint in St Louis.
