Ellsberg Surrenders to Federal Authorities in Boston
Dr. Daniel Ellsberg surrendered today to federal authorities outside Boston. He told about 150 supporters that he provided the New York Times with the Pentagon papers and that he is prepared for all consequences. Ellsberg, 40, linked to MIT Cambridge, said he acted on his own initiative to inform the American public after the 9,000th American died in Vietnam.
