Judgment in $50,000 suit over Lok-In blocks
A $50,000 judgment was entered in Grundy County Circuit Court against Lok-In Products of Cook County for failure to fulfill manufacturing, mold provision, and damage duties connected with Lok-In blocks. Plaintiffs Jack and Helen Barry, successors to Midwest Silo, pursued the suit filed in 1971 after alleged breaches in 1965. The Barry claim also noted Midwest Silo is defunct. A separate case by Chuck and Evelyn Moore of Cape Coral against Morris Savings and Loan for credit disability insurance, filed Oct. 22, 1975, was dismissed for lack of prosecution. The Moores sought to halt vehicle repossession, confession, sale, lien, and damages totaling $5,878 actual and $5,000 exemplary.
