Suspect Arson In Campus Fire At SIU Old Main
A Sunday blaze destroyed the 83 year old Old Main building at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with an estimated five million dollars in damage. Fire officials say arson started the attic with three separate blazes and vandals left phrases on blackboards. Students braved flames to rescue papers and museum pieces as firefighters from ten communities fought the fire.

Permits Issued for Rest Area Sewage Facilities on I 80
