Five teens from East McKeesport were killed when a car veered off a highway, plunging 50 feet and striking trees. Survivors include 16-year-old driver Bruce Wessel and 15-year-old Charles King. Police say another vehicle forced the car from the road.
The Rev. James Neuman of Dwight will leave this month to become pastor at Humboldt Park Evangelical United Brethren church in Chicago. The Rev. Howard J. Donald Tigges, a student intern at Bethlehem Lutheran, will preach at both Sunday services on Pilgrims With Power. He will serve a one year term as youth director and assistant to the pastor after a recent installation.
