Channahon Board Reviews Plat Fees After Overcharge Claim
The Channahon Village Board voted unanimously to have village attorney Richard Teis review the alleged plat fee overcharge in Channon Acres. Teis called the draft ordinance ambiguous and unenforceable, noting no similar $100 per acre fee exists in other municipalities and suggesting a correction. Trustees Welch Williams Johnson Petrusa approved, also approving low bid for street blacktopping and various municipal actions, with several pending items and an executive session on police wages.
