Two Joliet Men Face Trial For Throat Slashing Case
Richard Vaughn 20 and Thiris Smith 27 and a 15 year old juvenile were arraigned before Judge William Denning on a 12 count Grundy County indictment accusing attempted murder armed robbery and aggravated battery in the throat slashing of a hitchhiker.
