Fire destroys 80 year old Park Place Baptist Church
Aurora Illinois fire destroyed the 80 year old Park Place Baptist church one block from the business district. About 30 residents were displaced as flames rose 20 to 30 feet from the roof and the building’s stone walls helped spare two nearby houses and an apartment building.
