Jail Driver In Fatal Accident
Napoleon Shipman 49 of Wilmington was sentenced to jail by Magistrate Chester Winsor after a one car crash on December 29 near Gardner killed his wife Leona 54. Shipman faced charges including driving with a revoked license and illegal transportation of liquor. He received fines and a seven day jail term plus additional fines for the liquor charge and could not pay, risking further county jail time at five dollars per day. Shipman was uninjured in the crash.
