Trailer Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Shady Oaks
Fire at Shady Oaks Wednesday afternoon destroyed the Memory Deville mobile home belonging to Steven Faubion at 2A Olive Street. Minooka firefighters arrived to find the interior engulfed in flames around 12:30 p.m. Connie Faubion and her six year old son Timothy escaped with Mrs. Patricia Kane. neighbor Richard Mancel found the raging fire in the home. The mobile home was valued at $5,500 with no contents valuation given.

Pontiac man endures night in snow igloo during Blizzard of ’79
