A fire at the Roger Hileman residence one mile south of Braidwood destroyed the interior and furnishings including a $5,000 organ. Mrs. Hileman suffered minor arm burns and received treatment at St. Josephs Hospital Joliet before release. Fire units from Wilmington Custer Park Braceville Gardner and Essex battled the blaze with backups from Dwight Coal City. Departments remained on scene until about 11:30 a.m.
