New suspension rules adopted by Morris Community High School Board
The Morris Community High School Board approved a new suspension procedure proposed by Superintendent Claude Rose. The law now requires board review of suspensions with both student and parents allowed to attend the hearing, a three day notice letter, and open session decisions. The board heard five or six suspensions and noted attendance and academic performance details for the 1970-71 to 1971-72 periods.
