Accidents hospitalize four after icy Interstate 80 crashes

Braceville resident Charles Roscoe Byerley 43 died in a single car crash on Interstate 55 two miles south of Illinois 53. The northbound 1970 Chevrolet rolled after veering off, striking a guardrail and culvert, pinning Byerley in wreckage. He was declared dead at the scene by Will County Coroner Willard G. Blood. body taken to St Joseph Hospital and then Patterson Funeral Home. An inquest will be held. coroner reports cite head and chest injuries.

Morris man charged with marijuana possession
