Morris police search for two youths who robbed the Saratoga Laundry at U.S. 6 and Illinois 47 noon Thursday taking about $100 in cash and a $10 travelers check. Owner Mrs. Allan Starnes described two 17 year old suspects, one with a blue sweatshirt and the other with a white painter's cap, seen fleeing north on foot.

Five Morris residents injured in two car crash on I-55 ramp

Police report a theft at the Morris Holiday Inn where three cameras and a citizen band radio, valued at 524.95, were taken from a car owned by C M Bryson of Winona Minnesota. Entry was forced between the glass and frame on the passenger side, with the lock lifted.

Calico cat Fluffy from Minooka wowed judges at the Illinois Iowa Cat Fanciers Club convention in Davenport Iowa winning a special judge's award and two ribbons.
