A 16 year old Ottawa resident Leslie H. Caffee was listed in guarded condition at Morris Hospital after a one car crash on U S 6. Driver Raymond B. Seaman 22 Grand Ridge and passenger Wayne Reed 17 Ottawa were detained or dismissed as authorities investigated the cause. The 1964 Pontiac suffered extensive right side damage and was towed from the scene after the vehicle left the roadway struck a utility pole then landed in a field.
