Overdosed Men Hospitalized After Joliet Drug Incident
Two Chicago suburbs men were hospitalized in serious condition after an overdose at Romine's 1-80 Ranch. Harry Nasal of Orland Park and Dennis Carver of Palos Heights were found by Morris police and State Police, later transferred to St. Joseph Hospital. Both had prior criminal records.

Chicago Woman Injured When Car Overturns on I-55
A Chicago woman, 53 year old Susan Cross, was injured when her 1977 Volkswagen Rabbit overturned on Interstate 55 two miles south of Reed Road. The crash occurred at about 11 55 am in strong winds. Cross, in fair condition, was taken to St Joseph Hospital Joliet by the Braidwood Rescue Squad. Her dog also survived the ride. The car, with 137 miles, was demolished and towed by Schroeder's Standard in Gardner.
