Rites Thursday for Ray Bannon
Funeral services for Ray E. Bannon 80 of Morris will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Finland Chapel with Rev. Roy Hamburger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Bannon owned the Bannon Organ Center and directed accordion bands in several Illinois towns. He was born December 26 1890 in Morris and died Sunday in Beverly Hills California. He was active in bands and music business his entire life. He leaves three daughters and five grandchildren. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Finland Chapel.
