Woman Escapes Abductor After Car Take Near Morris
A 22 year old Elgin teacher visiting Morris was abducted by a man who forced her to drive west, attempted to rape her, and doused her with liquor. She escaped after about an hour, was aided by Ray Clark, and brought to the county jail. Deputies searched the abandoned vehicle and a state message was issued.
