Morris Planning Commission Delays Motel Zoning Decision
The commission delayed a B-2 or BNL zoning recommendation for 3395 acres northeast of the I-80 IL 47 interchange amid a ruling that public hearings need not be followed by delay. The plan by Standard Oil for a 40 unit motel near the interchange was explained by Eugene Hayes with water sewer work by Chamlin and Associates. The council will review the rezoning on Feb 22 after the commission’s recommendation.
