Fatal Crash Near Lawrenceville Kills Woman in Car
Mrs. Florence Richardson, 78, of Oaktown Indiana, died when a semi struck the rear of the car she rode in five miles north of Lawrenceville Illinois. Her husband Charles, 78, was reported in critical condition at a local hospital.

Gov. Richard Ogilvie announced at the Lincoln Day dinner that Atty. S. J. Holderman, GOP county chairman, will join the Illinois Court of Claims to fill an unexpired term.
