Mazon burglars fail to breach bank safe despite torch attempt
A trio of break ins hit the Mazon State Bank the Earl Davies Farm Service store and the Mazon Hardware store. Tools and shotgun shells were stolen from the hardware store and $25 from the farm service. An attempted torching of the bank safe failed and investigators believe the same group planned all entries.
