Illinois state parks open for snowmobiling and skiing sites
Springfield announces ten state parks plus the Illinois Michigan Canal Parkway near Morris will offer snowmobiling this year, with Shabbona replacing Illinois Beach Park. Nineteen sites will host cross country skiing and snowshoeing, with several trails lengthened, night snowmobiling at Hennepin Canal, and six additional ski sites adding to the list.
