Braceville Women’s Society of Christian Service met in the Methodist Church parlors with 12 members present. A Christmas party is planned for December 18 at 12 30 p m. Devotions were led by Mae L Arthur. A wedding was attended by Mr and Mrs Joseph E Jerus for their son Joseph Clark Jerus’s marriage to Nancy Louise Caldwell in California. Pfe Gary L Krug plans return from a 15 day furlough to Vietnam. Sp4 Marvin Decker has returned to the U S Hospital at Fort Sam Houston. A Christmas program will be presented by Braceville Methodist Church Sunday school at 730 p m.

Rubin ordered to appear in court on disorderly conduct
Yippie leader Jerry Rubin must appear in court or forfeit his 25 000 bond for disturbances during the Democratic National Convention. Rubin did not show for a Wednesday hearing, claiming a New York court appearance. Dennis Cunningham said Rubin was in New York.
