Mrs Ullrich Denies Personal Bid for Rest Home Museum
Mrs John Ullrich testified before Grundy County Board of Supervisors that a recent newspaper article overstated her $2000 bid for the old Grundy County Rest Home. She said the bid was personal and not made for the Grundy County or Illinois Valley Historical societies. If accepted, she would have allowed IVHS to use the building as a museum. The board approved quarterly financial reports and the county treasurer's annual report at the regular meeting.
