Girl complains after bus-truck accident on Southmor Road
A school bus owned by Warland Bus Service with about 15 Shabbona School students was eastbound on Southmor Road when a Home Juice GMC panel truck backing from a driveway struck its mirror and side. Passenger Kathy Edwards, 13, suffered a head bump. Gary Laroche, 19, was ticketed for improper backing with a $25 bond and a Dec. 20 court date. Mrs. Vera M. Glenn arranged another bus to resume the route.
