Attorney Advises Judgment Delay In Chicago Disorders Probe
U S Attorney Thomas A Foran leading a federal grand jury investigation into Chicago Democratic National Convention week disorders urges withholding judgment on city handling until the probe findings are released. He expects results soon after more than 100 witnesses testified across nearly 30 sessions. This follows a National Commission on Violence report blaming Chicago police for most violence during convention week.
