FCC approves WRMI FM sale to Grundy County Broadcasters
The Federal Communications Commission approved the sale of WRMI FM to Grundy County Broadcasters Inc operators of WCSJ AM. The deal, announced this spring and pending final FCC approval, involves WRML FM with future operating plans to be announced by station manager Kirk Patrick. WRML FM began broadcasting in 1961 and was previously owned by Mrs. Ottila Greiner and her husband for ten years. Grundy County Broadcasters Inc bought WCSJ AM in 1966 from Russell Armentrout of Louisiana Missouri.
