Frightened students at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan take protective measures after a series of killings near Ypsilanti. Dawn Basom, 13, is the latest victim found on a rural road four miles north of EMU. Police report multiple similar cases since March, with victims including EMU and UM coeds, a 22 year old, and a 16 year old, all within ten miles of the campuses.
