Channahon Village President Steve Rittof vetoed an ordinance to create departments passed March 1 by a 5 1 vote. The 1967 draft, never recorded, was questioned by Village Attorney Richard Teas who urged a new draft be prepared. Trustees 4 2 vote left the veto in place while plans for a committee review move forward. Bonds set for clerk and deputy. liquor licenses amended with transfers and six month payments described. A site plan for city hall approved with cost materials study planned and a special meeting set for April 29.
