Nursing Home To Admit Its First Patient
The Morris Lincoln Nursing Home will move in its first 13 patients tomorrow as the 47 bed facility opens next to the Dena Erickson Nursing Home. Harry Brown to Resign as Morris Township Supervisor
Harry E. Brown 80 of 210 E North St longtime assistant supervisor of Morris Township announced his intention to resign at the annual township board meeting held yesterday. He cited poor hearing and eyesight and said one year remains in his present term. Supervisor Ray Hansen said the Morris Town Board of Appointments will fill the vacancy with the board comprising the township supervisor clerk and auditors. He hopes the appointment is made before Grundy County supervisors organizational meeting next Tuesday.
