The Supreme Court ruled that death sentences cannot stand if jurors with strong anti capital punishment views are automatically excluded. Justice Stewart said a juror with fixed opinions might still fairly weigh a death sentence. The decision affects an Alabama case of Billy Don Franklin Boulden.

Boy, 6, Darts Into Street Hit by Car
A 6 year old Morris boy ran between two parked cars and into the path of an approaching auto on E Jefferson Street. Thomas Kinzler suffered a cerebral concussion a fractured leg facial contusions and possible internal injuries. He was listed as guarded at Morris Hospital after the Reeves Ambulance transported him. Driver Stephen M. Davis was not ticketed and police reported the accident.
