Silver Party County Ticket Declared For State Officials

The Silver Party nominates a full county slate led by State Senator A Livingston and Assemblymen H R Logan M W Smith with Wylie for Co E. Wylie. William Kinney is named Sheriff and George W Cowing for Clerk and Treasurer. Henry Dieterich runs for Auditor and Recorder with Geo W Keith as District Attorney. Edmund James seeks long term Commissioner and James Easton short term Commissioner. W H Stone is Justice of the Peace and Eugene Mara Constable.

Platform Pledges and Endorsements By Silver Party

The platform endorses state party principles and Francis G. Newlands for U S Senator. It supports labor organization rights, limits on state land purchase interest rates, water storage reservoirs for irrigation, public road improvements, timber cutting regulations to protect watersheds, and economical county administration praise for current Silver party officials.

Capitol Commissioners Seek Bids for Nut Pine Wood

The Board of Capitol Commissioners invites sealed bids for 50 cords of nut pine wood cut to 16 inch lengths and stored in the Capitol basement under supervision. Bids due by noon October 2 1962 and opening at 2 pm the same day. Wood to be delivered by October 15 1902. The Board may reject any or all bids. Address Clerk of Board W R Davis Carson City Nevada.
