Local notes report Jim Kerr of Reno guests in the city and J Falstein registered at the Arlington. Reno lodging houses are full. Mills journeys to Pyra mid Lake for a few days of sport. The Nevada Engineering works plans a 100000 square foot foundation. Rain touched the section last evening. Pine Nut range rich strike rumored.
The notice lists Justice of the Peace W H Stone and Constable Eugene Mara in an official capacity, detailing their roles in local enforcement and judicial duties within the community.
The document endorses the joint platform of the Silver and Democratic parties, supports Hon. Francie G. Newlands for U.S. Senator, and pledges legislative candidates to back that candidacy. It calls for labor rights, regulation of hours, union rights, no interest-rate reductions on state lands, reservoirs for irrigation, road improvements, timber protection, and economical county administration.
The Board of Capitol Commissioners will receive sealed bids for furnishing 30 cords of nut pine wood corded on the east Capitol grounds.
