Silver Party Platform Endorsed by State Conventions

The Silver Party platform endorses labor rights, fair labor organization, and opposition to injunctions that limit union rights. It supports Francia G. Newlands for U S Senator and pledges legislative backing for his campaign. It calls for storage reservoirs, good roads, lawful timber cutting measures, and economical county administration. It also opposes land sale price reductions and advocates responsible taxation.

Capitol Commissioners Sealed Bids for Nut Pine Wood

The Board of Capitol Commissioners will receive sealed bids for furnishing 50 cords of nut pine wood cut into 16 inch lengths and piled in the Capitol basement.
