Nevada Supreme Court reviews the appeal of Ernst & Esser and Monitor Land & Live Stock Co over a 1897 tax assessment in Nye County. The Board of Equalization added Monitor’s sheep and land to Ernst & Esser’s list, though Monitor claimed ownership of the sheep. The jury ruled for the taxpayers. the court denied a new trial.
