In Carson City Nevada the new mining law amends section one of a 1907 act to govern locating and recording lode and placer claims. It requires discovery shafts at least ten feet deep, proper corner posts, specified stone or wood monuments, and marks to denote claim boundaries with July 1 1901 as effective date.
The notice explains how AW and Ti subscribers must act to end or continue service. It covers continuing after arrears, surrendering papers, moving without informing, and fraud implications. It notes advance payers must give notice at term end, and that publishers may pursue arrearages. It references postal laws allowing publishers to pursue nonpayment.
