Nevada Silver Platform Embraced at Republican Convention
The Silver party in Nevada adopts the platform of the state Republican gathering held April 30. It calls for full remonetization and unlimited coinage of silver at 16 to 1, denounces major parties on this issue, and rejects nominations for presidential electors aligned against free coinage. George S Nixon chairs the Silver party state committee with A P Frannzrr as secretary.
