Santa Claus purchases near $500 in a department store, while insurance and financial figures appear from Prudential. Real estate and personal property offerings are noted, with peculiar OCR fragments scattered throughout.
Notice warns hunting without a permit on Theodore Winters premises will be prosecuted and mentions limited permits sold at Edason for 50 cents. It also states assessor handed the assessment roll and map book to the signed party, and that the Board of County Tax will meet as a circuit office at a specified time.
The Board of Equalization ordered changes to the 1905 assessment roll including additions and mortgage valuations for G Court A Macdonald Mrs Jennie Sprague and others and reductions for W O Bain Elizabeth Hofer and AJ Pedroli. Notices invite objections by Sept 29 with further changes on Sharon and Morrow Bruns Wick mill and Truckee River Electric Co.
Notice that Tonopah Railroad Company and Goldfield Railroad Company merged their assets and recitals to form Tonopah and Goldfield Railroad Company effective November 1 1905 with principal office at Tonopah Nevada and a listed slate of officers including John W Brock and Clyde A Heller. Also mentions management of associated entities and offers a local market note from Eagle Market.
The State Board of Capitol Commissioners invites bids by noon October 15 for a two story basement stone capitol building in Carson City Nevada. Stones to be provided from the state prison ten miles away. completion by December 31 1906 under an act of March 18 1905. Plans and specifications at the Governor’s office Carson City.
