Prisoner Collins Lands in Custody After Escapes
George D. Collins was landed in prison Monday after a desperate escape attempt on a ferry between San Francisco and San Quentin by hiding in a closet and later trying to flee Broad Way jail by hiding under a cat. Upon arrival he was shaved and given a striped suit. The Rathbone Sisters were full attendances at proceedings featuring Mrs Mackey recounting experiences in the San Francisco earthquake.
