Wimpuss Folklore Advice From Altoona Tribune
The Altoona Kansas Tribune quotes Ane tte Butcher describing a mythical creature named the wimpuss. It supposedly dwells in high trees and attacks travelers but is harmless if you know the method: offer cheese on a waterfall to lure it, then tie its tail in a double bow knot to cause it to choke itself.

Ancient Keys Symbolize Power Across Civilizations
A Montreal Herald writer notes keys as a symbol of authority from Babylonian river control to Roman wedding customs. Ancient deities were pictured with keys, Hecate allegedly held gate keys of Hades, and Roman law linked the key ring to a husband’s pledged authority over his wife.
