Senior Year Beginnings and Local Silo Events
Ann McDonough starts her senior year at West Mar college after a summer as recreation director at Mt. Pleasant Mental Hospital. Labor Day weekend saw Ralph, Ted McDonough, and families aiding silo filling, with visits to Ralph in Monroe County hospital for tests. Community notices urge voting in the September 13 school election noon to 8 pm. Additional reunions include Jonathan Chase visiting Russell neighbors, and numerous Kelley family gatherings in Julian and Galesburg with relatives from Ames, Russell, Centerville, and Waco Texas.
